Patient Organisations
We recognise the important role that patient organisations can play in providing support and disseminating information to
both patients and their care-givers.
Merck KGaA and its global division, Merck Serono, provide financial and in-kind donations, grants and sponsorships to encourage
various patient organisations in continuing their work. By addressing the lack of resources in patient organisations, we
do not seek to impose or control the information they communicate.
At Merck Serono, we are actively committed to bringing therapeutic innovations to patients, and as our values form an integral
part of our activities, Merck and its division, Merck Serono, publish below the contributions presented to patient organizations
in the UK during 2008.
We will update this list regularly.
